We released a new version of the box software under the week-end. You do not need to do anything special, your box will automatically update as time goes by. Among the improvements worth to mention are:
  • Improved TV learning and control, this should now works with most TV sets in Europe.
  • Support for a few more web cameras.
  • Improved stability on wifi networks.
  • Support for calls to Android mobile phones.
  • Support for a new video codec in order to improve compatibility with older video clients.
  • Wider palette of audio codecs for improved compatibility.
  • A few user interface improvements and bug fixes.
  • A wide number of stability improvements.
  • Possibility to increase the number of details in the video picture when you have enough upstream bandwidth.
  • Support for NTSC, i.e. the video format which is in use in countries such as USA and Japan, two countries where myJoice is expanding.
  • Support for reception of text messages, depending on your subscription.
  • Support for a video mailbox, so that callers will be able to leave a message if you are away from home. This also depends on your subscription.
